Michael Roman Lentini graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an area of specialization in Criminology. He then graduated from law school at Florida State University. While earning his law degree, Mike worked as a law clerk for the Leon County Public Defender's Office.

Following graduation, he worked as a prosecutor for the Orange County State Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases including those for DUI, other traffic offenses, drug offenses, and many other misdemeanors and felonies.

Mike then moved to the Tampa Bay area and joined the Hillsborough County Public Defender's office to further develop his skills as a criminal trial attorney. He has prosecuted, as well as represented and defended, numerous people for criminal charges ranging from traffic and misdemeanor offenses to felonies punishable by life in prison. In the process, Mike has acquired valuable trial experience and obtained extensive knowledge of both sides of the criminal justice system. In addition, he has committed to continuing his education through dozens of intensive seminars in specific aspects of criminal law.

At Roman & Roman, Mike focuses his practice in the area of criminal defense. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Clearwater Bar Association. Mike has also provided a public service interview as a guest on the Tom Mitchell radio show, station 1340 AM. In his leisure time, Mike enjoys water sports, football, and fitness training.
